Nothing tests a neighbourly relationship quite like a heavy Finnish snowfall and a shared driveway. In this episode, Satu returns from Thailand only to find her neighbour, Suvi, standing in the snow with a shovel and a point to prove. The transition from the +32°C heat of Bangkok to a freezing Finnish weather is a shock; Satu recounts how she spent the trip “lathering on SPF 50 like a vampire” after turning bright red on her first day. But as the small talk fades, the two women enter into a masterclass of suburban negotiation over who—if anyone—is actually going to clear the snow.

As they discuss the work rotation, it becomes clear that Suvi is the only person left standing. The rest of the neighbours are out of commission: the elderly Pirjo and Matti are deemed too old to help, and both women seem to be pinning their hopes on Henkka, who is currently sidelined with a serious case of pneumonia.
